John Wittman is a partner at PLUS Communications and lead of our Austin, TX, office. In his role, John provides strategic advice to clients as they navigate the complex issues of Texas state government and the ever-changing media landscape. John is a proud graduate of Miami University in Oxford, OH.

Prior to joining PLUS Communications, John was founder of Wittman Public Affairs. Before that, he spent nearly a decade working in Texas government and politics, including as Governor Greg Abbott’s communications director. Prior to his time in Texas, John worked for the House Republican Conference on Capitol Hill and served on Mitt Romney’s 2012 Presidential campaign. He lives in Austin, TX, with his wife, Cait, and his son.
