Evan Owens is a director at PLUS Communications, where he provides clients with support on strategic communications, grassroots engagement, media relations and issue advocacy.

Prior to PLUS, Evan worked at a leading financial communications agency where he managed public relations campaigns for growth-oriented fintech startups and private equity firms. Before that, he advised Fortune 100 companies in tech and healthcare, industry associations, global law firms, international media organizations, and community-based advocacy groups in progressive roles at a D.C.-based public affairs firm. Raised in Sterling, Virginia, Evan is a graduate of James Madison University with degrees in International Affairs and Spanish. He currently lives in Washington, D.C.
