Corry Bliss is a partner at PLUS Communications. Recognized as one of the country’s top political operatives, Corry has more than 10 years of experience at the highest levels of Republican politics and organizing some of the most successful grassroots campaigns. He served as executive director of the American Action Network (AAN) and the Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF) during the 2018 election cycle in support of the House Republican leadership, where he raised and managed a $213 million budget. Under his leadership, both organizations shattered previous fundraising records and launched an unprecedented 40-office national field program that contacted more than 35 million voters.
Prior to joining AAN and CLF in January 2017, Corry managed some of the most competitive federal and state campaigns in the country. During the 2016 cycle, Bliss ran U.S. Senator Rob Portman’s winning re-election campaign in Ohio, turning a nine-point polling deficit into a 21-point win. The Portman campaign was named the “campaign of the year” by The Washington Post. Corry also managed U.S. Senator Pat Roberts’ come-from-behind win in 2014 in Kansas, which along with the Portman campaign, were supported by the team at PLUS’ sister firm, FP1 Strategies. He was named as “one of his party’s most closely watched young strategists” by The New York Times and TIME Magazine named him “National Republicans’ favorite political fixer.” Corry is a graduate of Boston University and the CUNY School of Law. He lives in Virginia with his wife and two sons.
