Anton Becker is a senior director at PLUS Communications, where he advises clients on strategic communications, public affairs, and media engagement. He helps organizations navigate complex policy and regulatory environments and translate technical issues into clear, compelling narratives for policymakers, stakeholders, and the public.
Prior to joining PLUS, Anton served as senior director of advocacy communications at Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF), where he led communications strategy for federal policy priorities focused on access, research, and affordability. He oversaw earned media, thought leadership, and integrated advocacy campaigns.
Anton previously served as communications director at Better Markets, where he led media strategy on financial regulation and economic policy issues. He also served as an assistant vice president at Story Partners, advising corporate and association clients on public affairs campaigns, message development, and crisis communications.
Anton began his career on Capitol Hill, where he spent nearly a decade in senior communications roles, including as communications director for Rep. Frank Pallone, Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and as press secretary for Rep. Tammy Duckworth.
A graduate of Union College, Anton resides in Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife, Kelsey, and three children.
