Amanda Maddox is a managing director at PLUS Communications, where she specializes in developing and implementing strategic communications and advocacy campaigns for trade associations, corporate clients and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining PLUS in 2020, Amanda spent nearly a decade on Capitol Hill, where she served as director of communications for former U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson of Georgia and the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. Amanda also worked for three members of the U.S. House of Representatives and for former U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss of Georgia. Amanda is a native Georgian and graduated from the University of Georgia.
What you may not know about Amanda
Amanda is professor in residence for University of Georgia’s GradyDC study away program in Washington, D.C. She instructs an eight-week public affairs communications course each summer for journalism and political science students at UGA’s Washington, D.C., campus.
