PLUS Communications Expands Team With Addition Of KC Jones Dennehy

ARLINGTON, VA – PLUS Communications, a leading public affairs, media, and digital firm, today announced that KC Jones Dennehy has joined the firm as a managing director to lead its growing grassroots and third-party engagement efforts.

Recognizing that businesses, organizations, and trade associations increasingly want to communicate directly with local leaders and that public opinion is shaped in local communities across the country, PLUS has built a bipartisan fifty-state field network. The firm’s award-winning grassroots campaigns help shape policies and perceptions, while increasing public awareness on behalf of its clients.

Jones Dennehy has more than 20 years of experience in government, grassroots organizing, issue campaigns, and political contests. Across her career, she has developed a wealth of experience and relationships that complement the ever-changing range of challenges of a diverse clientele. Her knowledge surrounding forming and managing statewide and national networks leaves her well suited to oversee the grassroots offerings that PLUS’ own diverse list of clients depends on.

Jones Dennehy joins PLUS following her time as managing director of new business at FLS Connect. In her role, Jones Dennehy utilized her unique ability to connect with others to deliver value to clients both large and small concerning FLS’ grassroots advocacy services. She worked with a variety of stakeholders during her tenure, including campaign managers and consultants, legislative staff, national party political directors, public affairs partners, and leaders of corporations and nonprofits.

Prior to joining FLS, Jones Dennehy served in the White House as deputy associate director of presidential personnel. She served President George W. Bush in several other political positions during her time in Washington, D.C. Throughout her extensive political career, Jones Dennehy has also worked on state and national political campaigns where she specialized in developing grassroots coalitions while also directing overall strategy. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
