ARLINGTON, VA – PLUS Communications, a leading public affairs, media, and digital firm, today announced that John Wittman, former communications director for Texas Governor Greg Abbott, has joined the firm as a partner in its award-winning public affairs practice where he will continue to lead issue advocacy and media campaigns for corporations, trade associations and coalitions.
Adding to its existing locations in the Washington D.C. area and Richmond, VA, John will open PLUS’ latest office in Austin, Texas and bring a diverse set of new clients to the firm – allowing PLUS to further expand its geographical footprint and client management services. As PLUS continues its upward trajectory, the Austin office marks another significant milestone for the growth of the firm. PLUS has experienced double-digit growth, each year, for the past three years and is on track for similar growth in 2022.
PLUS Communications now has more than 175 team members representing over 125 clients – from Fortune 100 companies to trade associations and non-profit organizations across a wide variety of industries.
