Emma Langsam is a research associate at PLUS where she provides media monitoring and research for clients. Emma is currently a graduate student at George Washington University, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in international affairs with a concentration in global governance. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina, where she studied international studies and double-minored in Spanish and women’s and gender studies.

Prior to PLUS, Emma interned at the Department of State in the Office of Caucasus Affairs and Regional Conflicts. Originally from Charleston, SC, she now resides in Washington D.C.

What you may not know about Emma

After studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain, Emma set out on a solo backpacking adventure through parts of Eastern Europe and the Balkans, exploring Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia and Croatia.

She enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling and discovering fun events and activities around D.C.
