Eric Sutton brings more than 27 years of experience as a public affairs, media relations, and crisis communications executive, advising Fortune 500 companies, major brands, trade associations, and government agencies. Throughout his career, he has developed and led strategic communications initiatives that shape public opinion, navigate complex challenges, and deliver measurable results for clients across industries.

Since joining PLUS, Eric has managed high-stakes, bipartisan public affairs campaigns at the national level while delivering successful outcomes for clients in major city halls and state capitals across the country. His work spans strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, crisis management, and integrated advocacy campaigns in highly complex and politically sensitive environments.

Specializing in media strategy and press engagement, Eric has led high-profile earned media and crisis communications efforts throughout the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. His work has earned industry recognition, including a PRWeek Best in Crisis Award, a Platinum SABRE Award for Best in Class, a Global SABRE Award, and multiple PRWeek Best in Public Affairs nominations.
Prior to joining PLUS, Eric served as Vice President of Corporate Relations for a $46 billion global infrastructure investor and the world’s largest toll road operator, where he oversaw corporate communications, consumer marketing, and government relations.

Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President at Weber Shandwick, managing public affairs and corporate communications programs for major brands. He also worked as a political campaign strategist and state party executive.
