Rob Jesmer is a managing partner at PLUS Communications. As one of five PLUS principals, he develops strategies to navigate some of the country’s most complex regulatory, legislative and brand reputation challenges.
Rob specializes in agile, multi-faceted public affairs and communications campaigns to move public opinion and engineer client wins. He helped Charter Communications shift stakeholder perspectives and build critical support for its merger with Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks. He led Microsoft and other partners to successfully use a coalition to deliver broadband access across large portions of rural America. And he helps a number of health care clients advance policy priorities in Congress.
Prior to his work with PLUS, Rob worked at the highest levels of national politics. He has managed campaigns, run congressional offices, directed field operations, and advised presidential candidates in Texas, Minnesota, Illinois, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee. Rob also served as the executive director at the National Republican Senatorial Committee for two cycles, raising more than $200 million and picking up five seats for Republicans. He also served as regional political director at the Republican National Committee.

Rob is a native of St. Paul, Minnesota and is forever dreaming of a Vikings victory in the Super Bowl. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science and communications from the University of Saint Thomas.
