Ali Adkins is a director of public affairs at PLUS Communications where she specializes in strategic communications and media relations for policy-oriented advocacy groups, associations and corporate clients.
Prior to joining PLUS in 2020, Ali was a director at a strategic communications and government affairs firm in Washington, D.C., where she grew her career over eight years directing and advising on high-impact public affairs and crisis communications campaigns for a variety of clients across complex issue areas, including financial institutions and media/telecommunications companies facing regulatory challenges. In this role, she also had the privilege to lead U.S. media/stakeholder engagement and outreach for a foreign government that remains one of the United States’ longest and most closely held foreign allies and security partners. She also served as a program assistant for a preeminent international security cooperation run by the Department of Defense. Ali is a native of Dayton, Ohio, and attended the University of Kentucky where she earned her degree in political science. She currently resides in Washington, D.C.
