Joe Carruth joined PLUS in July 2013 and currently serves as a managing director in the public affairs division.  In this role, he spearheads communications, grassroots and issue advocacy campaigns on behalf of PLUS clients.

Upon joining PLUS, Joe was initially tasked with managing a media monitoring and rapid response war room for a major corporate client.  Joe provided the corporate communications team with timely breaking news alerts and broader media coverage reports, ensuring they maintained a firm grasp on a rapidly-evolving news environment.

Prior to PLUS, Joe served in various roles on Capitol Hill and the RNC.  Joe is a native of South Carolina, an alum of Ole Miss (Hotty Toddy) and currently lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Paige.

What you may not know about Joe

Paige and Joe have a Boykin Spaniel named Cooper, who is one of two PLUS dogs by that name.

Joe has a goal of attending a game at every Major League Baseball stadium (about halfway there) and also wants to play golf on every continent (still has a ways to go).
